Victorian Silver Buckle Ring Birmingham 1879

A pretty antique Victorian hand engraved silver buckle ring, Birmingham 1879. The plain design is simple but effective, it is very comfortable to wear and is in very good condition.

Fully hallmarked with clear maker’s mark ‘CP’.

Buckles were popular in Victorian jewellery as they symbolised that the  giver and recipient were as well matched as a belt and its buckle.

Ring measures approx 4.6mm UK ring size O (US 7) approx weight 3.9 gms
