A superb antique Victorian silver hinged buckle bangle circa 1900. The hand crafted original bangle is in very good condition. The clasp clicks shut correctly and is fitted with a safety chain for extra security.

Buckles were popular in Victorian society as they symbolised that the give and recipient were as well matched as a belt and its buckle. Bangle measures approx 36mm wide, inside circumference 48mm x 55mm approx weight 36.5gms
